The San Luis Coastal Teachers Association (SLCTA) exists to protect and promote the well-being of its members and to improve the conditions of teaching and learning. It works on behalf of its members to strengthen working conditions for all through representation and advocacy.

We are stronger together! SLCTA unites San Luis Coastal Unified teachers, counselors, nurses, speech pathologists, and specialists to advocate for the best instructional environments for our students. Our membership is committed to fostering schools where all students belong and achieve.
The San Luis Coastal Unified School District relies on our skill, creativity, compassion, and hard work in order to meet increasingly challenging educational initiatives. We aim to amplify the voices of our dedicated, expert members as we collaborate with SLCUSD administrators and School Board officials to make decisions that will meet the diverse needs of our students from TK through 12th grade.
Who We Are
Ms. Kelly Kirkpatrick from Bishop’s Peak Elementary is our Teacher Nominee for November!
She is a mover and a shaker. Always going the extra mile for students AND co-workers. She is organized, communicative and clear. She is an advocate for her colleagues and fellow members and somehow also makes everything around her more lovely and aesthetic at the same time. Her energy and passion are contagious. Kelly rocks.
